# Organisational Structure

There are plans to formalise the structure of On-Chain Brits, drawing inspiration from established organisations we want to serve as a leading representative body for UK based talent and British companies involved in crypto, web3 development and operations. Our goal is to represents our members and member companies from across the web3 sphere.

Based on this aspiration, the planned structure for On-Chain Brits includes:

A formal membership system, which is planned to include Individual Membership and Company Membership tiers.

## The Team

The team behind On-Chain Brits is integral to organising the monthly networking events in London and fostering the vibrant community of Crypto and Web3 enthusiasts. 

Their work ensures that the meetups successfully facilitate connections, idea sharing, and the exploration of opportunities, creating a welcoming environment for insightful conversations and new connections among the diverse range of attendees.

We are also considering a number of roles within the team. This will include a membership manager, events coordinator, business opportunities lead & communications manager. 

Initially the organisation will have 2 staff which will manage membership, events, opportunities and socials. 

## Board Structure (To be introduced)

On-Chain Brits intends to introduce a formal governance structure. This planned structure aims to provide strategic direction and robust representation for the community's members.

The proposed structure would likely include:

### The Board

A core governing body responsible for setting the overall vision, strategic priorities, and overseeing the community's development.

### Membership Representation

Mechanisms to ensure the diverse interests of individual members and member companies (once membership tiers are established), are heard and addressed.

### Working Groups or Special Interest Groups

Potentially forming dedicated groups focused on specific areas within Crypto and Web3 (e.g., DeFi, NFTs, Blockchain Development, Regulation). These groups could be led by representatives and provide specialized input to the main board, these groups will advise the Board on issues affecting their sector.

This aims to solidify On-Chain Brits' position as a leading community promoting UK Web3 talent and fostering growth in the sector.
