# Business Development & Growth

A core priority for On-Chain Brits is fostering business development and growth within the UK's Web3 ecosystem. This is achieved through a combination of current activities and planned structural developments, drawing inspiration from established organizations.

\
Currently, On-Chain Brits supports business development primarily through its engaging networking events. These events, held monthly in London, provide a perfect space for crypto lovers to connect, share ideas, and explore new opportunities in the industry. By bringing together individuals who are passionate about the future of blockchain technology, these meetups facilitate insightful conversations and new connections, which are vital for spotting and developing business opportunities.

### Supporting Members and Engaging Relevant Bodies

On-Chain Brits will support its members, particularly the UK-based companies, and aims to potentially liaise with relevant UK government departments. This potential engagement would also involve informing the ecosystem around policy and regulatory developments relevant to domestic operations and international engagement for UK Web3 businesses.

### Deep Dive Knowledge Pool

Building on the community's current activity of hosting engaging networking events that provide a perfect space for crypto lovers to connect, share ideas, and explore new opportunities, the formal structure could facilitate more focused engagements. The aim would be to pool member knowledge and potentially insights from relevant external bodies to identify and understand key opportunities within specific Web3 sectors or market areas. This aligns with the community's goal of fostering insightful conversations, new connections, and a shared enthusiasm that helps members explore opportunities.

### Focused Plans for Opportunities

\
Developing Focused Plans for coordination of jointly owned Campaign Plans with the Department of Trade and Investment, On-Chain Brits, through its planned formal structure and potential engagement with relevant bodies, could work towards developing focused strategies. These strategies would aim to ensure UK Web3 entities are well-positioned to make the most of available opportunities. This could involve identifying and prioritizing:

Key Web3 Growth Areas: These are significant opportunities accessible to UK entities where On-Chain Brits, representing its members, can make a difference. Developing bespoke "Campaign Markets" concept to the Web3 context, focusing on sector-specific or opportunity-type growth rather than just geographical markets.

Areas for Continued Support: These are known areas within the UK Web3 ecosystem or related international contexts with potential opportunities and where strong community intelligence and support can continue to be beneficial. This relates to our "Continue to Support" concept and aligns with the ongoing knowledge sharing facilitated by On-Chain Brits events.
