# Road to Registration

On-Chain Brits ambition is to become the number one Organisation that links all British companies and UK consultants. In order to achieve this we have prepared a route to registration and beyond.

### Start Hosting Monthly Events

Initiate monthly events to see if there is an appetite for attending. Our initial goal is to get 25 signups for the event and to have around 90 people join the community.

### Sponsoring Monthly Events

Our second goal is to secure funds for our monthly events and to be able to distribute literature in the form of flyers and stickers to our attendees. The monthly event is intended to be open to all UK based individuals on a FCFS registration. As the events become more popular we likely will have a members first approach.

### Membership for individuals

Our second phase is to start our membership for On-Chain Brits - this will provide members with various benefits and we are hopeful that the annual membership brings a lot more value to our members in the form of collaborations, discounts on partner events, airdrops & claims and so much more.

### Starting the Organisation as a Non-Profit in the UK

Starting an organisation in the UK as a non-profit involves registering as an organisation entity, which provides numerous advantages. Non-profits in the UK can take advantage of a more favourable tax regime, including eligibility for certain tax reliefs and exemptions, particularly with regard to corporation tax and VAT. Additionally, non-profit status can enhance the credibility of the organisation, potentially attracting more volunteers and funding opportunities.

### Membership for Businesses

At this stage we would be inviting Businesses to apply for membership to On-Chain Brits. The requirements will be that they have at least 1 registered office in the UK. Membership Bands will apply but all will have the same benefit. Membership bands are important as it will dictate how many members from that organisation or company will be able attend member events and also the benefits they will receive.

### Development of Board

Once we have at least 10 Businesses registered we will be introducing the board development - this board will operate on a 2 year term and will be voted in. Nominees will have 2months to submit their interest to join the board.

The board size will be made up of X% of Single members and X% of business members. Rules and manifesto will be developed in the first few meetings of the board who will meet initially once a month.

The Organisation staff will be in attendance to the meetings to note take and document actions of the board. The Organisation staff serve as the administration and the board serves as the collective governance.
